Why your honeymoon should never be at the bottom of your budget

Updated: Apr 12, 2023

You've spent countless hours planning every detail from the flowers to the music all the way down to the font on the invitations. After exhausting your budget for the venue, photography, the cake, gifts for your attendants it can feel like there's nothing left for your honeymoon. The worst mistake I've seen couples make is either booking a random deal on-line or not taking a honeymoon at all.

The average honeymoon in 2021 was $4800. This isn't just another vacation, this is the beginning of your life together. Even if you have to postpone your honeymoon you should still plan to take time to just be together. Weddings can be stressful and what better way to start your next chapter than with a trip doing the things you love with the one you love?

Whether you enjoy just sitting on the beach or want to walk the streets of Venice, from cruising the high seas to trekking mountains you don't want this trip to be an epic failure strewn with mishaps or mayhem. You want to arrive and have every detail taken care of, you're probably craving a stress-free week after the wedding. It all seems easier said than done right?

Now it is, I am partnered with Honeymoon wishes where you can create a registry for portions of your honeymoon. Your family and friends can gift upgrades on your flights, room and activities. A romantic dinner? Parasailing? A drink package? All these and more can be added to your free wedding registry! When you work with me you get the comfort of knowing that you won't have to worry. I take care of all the details for you and your registry will help your honeymoon move to the top of the list!
